Mrs. Schramm: Grades K-8 Computer, CCC, Typing and Forensics
 | Computer classes for Grades K- 8 focus on building skills in Microsoft Office. In the lower grades, I will introduce MS-WORD and Powerpoint. In the middle grades I focus on building on those skills as well as adding Excel. In Junior High I add Publisher as well as doing a lot of cross curriculum work (newspaper, Science Fair, National History Day, etc.). As usual, internet safety will be taught and stressed! |
| CCC (Computer Curriculum Corporation) also know as Successmaker, is a software program that focuses on building math skills. It enables the children to enhance their math skills using the computer in a non-stressful environment. |
| The typing elective will focus on building keyboarding skills. The main tool used in this room will be the "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing" software program. |
| Forensics, focusing on Public Speaking, will be a fun class that will teach the children how to put together a speech and get up in front of people, using technology, to present to a group. The children will learn different types of speeches as well as how to critique themselves and their peers. |
