 Classroom Management Plan

Based on rules of respect, kindness and safety....

*   Raise hand, wait to be called on.

*   One person speaks at a time.

*   No running or other unsafe behavior.

*   Respect adults and other students and their property

*   Be kind.

Positive consequences:

*   Keep daily sticker if no strikes are earned

*   Earn an occasional happy note home.

*   Earn privileges in the classroom and as a messenger.

Negative consequences:

*   Warning - Friendly reminder of the rule, without consequence.  Warnings are only for the first half of the year.  Starting in February, we proceed directly to strike one.

*   Strike one – Reminder of rule, loss of sticker for the day and "x" put on the sticker chart for that class.

*   Strike two – Reminder of the rule and loss of carpet time for that day (or morning carpet time the next day if it occurs late in the day).

*   Strike three – Reminder of the rule, not-too-happy note home.

*   Extreme behaviors or incidents that involve bullying may require immediate intervention by the Principal.
