Carnegie Cash for Schools

Buy or Renew a membership to the 4 Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and our school earns:

$5 for each Renewal Membership

$10 for each New Membership

 

There are three ways to join:

Visit the Membership desk at the museum and ask for you membership to be credited to St. John's

Call 412-622-3314 and ask that your membership be credited to St. John's

 

Target Guest Card (Charge Card)

Register your Target Charge so that every time you use your Target Charge,  1% of all purchases is rewarded back to our school in the form of cash.  Please go to www.target.com/tcoe and register your Target Card to be linked to St. John the Baptist Elementary School, Plum, 15239 (School code 15174)

Tyson Project A+

Please clip these strips off the top of Tyson Chicken products and send into school or deposit them in the marked box in the back of the church. Each strip is worth $.24.

Scrip Order Form

Can't find your Scrip Order Form?  Just click  here and you can print one.   SCRIP ORDER FORM (updated January 2008)  (On-line ordering not available yet!) 

All orders need to be in no later than 10:00 AM  Any orders received after that time will be saved for the next week.

All certificates may be picked up after 12 noon the following Thursday unless other wise noted.

Remember, all orders must be turned in by 10:00 am to the school or rectory!

Great News!!!!!

            Tuition credit will be given year round.  May and June voucher credit will be applied to the July tuition payment.  

General Notes:

All orders must be in no later that 10:00am.  This is a change from previous years.

We are in need of volunteers for both Mondays and Thursdays.

If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about the Scrip Program, call the Development Office at 412-793-4511, extension 255.

Market Day Sales Assistance

School Year 2007-2008

Each grade is responsible to help at a Market Day Sale, the following dates with grades assigned are as follows:

General Mills Box Tops for Education

Please send in Box Top "coupons" that are found on most General Mills, Pillsbury, Ziploc, Kleenex and Hefty products.  Each Box Top is worth $.10.  We send the Box Tops into "Box Tops for Education" and receive checks twice a year.

 Campbell's Soup Labels

We are also saving Campbell’s Soup Labels to redeem for educational materials.  Please save these labels and send them into school or deposit them in the marked box in the back of the church.  Send in the ENTIRE label from all Campbell’s soups, Swanson broths and chicken, Pepperidge Farm products and the lids from Prego sauces and V-8 juices.

Shop N Save

Please send in your Shop~N~Save receipts, we turn these into free Science Assemblies!

Giant Eagle

Giant Eagle no longer accepts register receipts. Register your Advantage Card online at www.gianteagle.com ,scroll down to Community Events and click on Educational Support.  Our school code is 1091.  Each time you use your Giant Eagle Card, St. John's will automatically receive credit to redeem for educational materials.

Charitable Cartridge Recycling

Don't throw away those used inkjet, toner, printer cartridges and old cell phones! Send them to school and we will receive points to use for software and hardware purchases!

     Paper Retriever Paper Recycling

Please deposit newspapers, junk mail, catalogs, etc into the yellow and green bins in the parking lot.  We earn money for every ton that is collected and recycled.  Please no plastic, plastic bags, phone books or glasses.

 Good Apples Program

Log onto www.goodapples.org and order high quality, fresh produce, every week.  Internet orders are due by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesdays with pick-up on Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. St. John's earns 10% on every order.
