Mrs. Hildagarde Gray - Librarian Mrs. Gray has a degree in Geological/Petroleum engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and has been at St. John’s for over forty years! She has written book reviews for the University of Scranton, Pittsburgh Press, and the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. She managed the automation of the school library, selects and processes the books for the accelerated reading program, trains students to serve as library aides, and organizes the giant Scholastic Book Fair held during Catholic Schools Week each January. She serves in our library because of her love of reading and children. Mrs. Gray has four grown children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren- twin boys and a little girl born on the Feast of the Assumption in 2006.
