PTG Events and Functions

 

	August - Kindergarten Orientation
	September - First General Meeting/Orientation, Family Breakfast for 7th and 8th grades
	October - Bonfire, Grandparents Day and family breakfasts for individual grade levels
	November - Bingo (school/church/Plum-wide) to be held in cafeteria and Family Breakfast
	December - Kris Kringle Days, St. Nicholas Day and Family Breakfast
	January - Catholic Schools Week Open House and various activities throughout the week
	February - Fundraiser to be announced
	March - General Meeting
	April - Event to be announced
	May - Mission Day Food Booth and May Crowning
	June - 2nd and 3rd grade Ice Cream Social, Kindergarten Graduation, 8th Grade Graduation, Market Day

 

PTG Supports Many Things

 

 

	Sends welcome letters to all kindergarten and new students
	Provides “Welcome back” treats for all students and staff
	Provides refreshments at Kindergarten orientation
	Sponsors yearly "Bonfire" in October
	Provides refreshments for Grandparents Day
	Donates cakes for Calendar Luncheon
	Hoagie Sale - October 31st
	Sponsors “Grande Bingo”
	Sponsors “Kris Kringle” shopping days for Christmas
	Provides candy for students on St.  Nicholas Day
	Organizes Catholic Schools Week activities and treats for students and the reception on Sunday
	Plans assemblies for students during the year
	Provides flowers for May Crowning
	Hires photographer for pictures of second and eighth graders for May Crowning and purchases one 5X7 for each 2nd grader and each 8th grader to receive at graduation
	Purchases food for lunch at Mission Day
	Provides refreshments for Kindergarten graduation
	Donates $400 for the 8th grade graduation celebration
	Sponsors an ice cream social for second and third graders
	Donates $500 for the 8th grade trip
	Donates the registration fee for PJAS (Science fair)
	Pays for the buses for 1 field trip per grade
	Pays for 3rd grade recorders
	Donates a a "Back to School" basket for the parish festival
	Decorates the school for several holidays and events throughout the year
	Provides treats to students during the year
	Provide gifts for secretary’s day, nurse’s day, principal’s and priests’ birthdays
	Provides each child with a birthday card/treat
